Leadership Responsibilities
Through years of experience we have developed a structure for the leadership of your ministry team which we believe will help your team have a more productive and fulfilling week with us.
We recommend that team responsibilites be divided up between six key individuals. The Group Leader (GL), has the overall responsibility for a group; in the States, traveling, and in Mexico. We ask that only this person communicates with us directly. That way, the Group Leader will be fully informed and can then pass information on to the rest of the team.
The Health Coordinator (HC) has the responsibility to keep everyone hydrated on the work site. He/she will continually bring water and a rehydration drink to each of the workers. This is a wonderful job for someone who wants to be part of the group, but does not feel up to the construction work. We have a very detailed step-by-step booklet that will walk you through this rewarding job.
The Construction Coordinator (CC) will not be building but rather overseeing the team/group, helping them with the construction instructions, and working directly with the Constructores Para Cristo Construction Supervisor who is assigned to each group.
The Food Coordinator has the responsibility to plan lunches that will be eaten picnic styleat the motel. There will be a food room for each group with a small refrigerator. We also have a very detailed step-by-step book that will walk you through this job that includes suggested menus and recipes. The Food Coordinator (FC) is a popular person!
The Worship Leader will lead the group in morning worship (there is a booklet for this in both English and Spanish), reflection time, and at the house dedication on Friday. The dedication service is included in the Morning Worship booklet.
The Transportation Coordinator will make all of the travel arrangements.
For a complete description of responsibilities, please call our office and we will be pleased to send you one.
